Davide Tabarelli

Agrometeorology Product Manager at Pessl Instruments GmbH

Davide Tabarelli has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. Davide began their career as a workman at Berlucchi Winery before taking on a role as a team responsible at Mezzacorona Group from 2009 to 2013. During this time, they were responsible for measuring the sugar content of the grape. From 2013 to 2017, they worked as a vineyard farmer and winemaker at their family's farm, where they developed important agronomic skills and focused on local wine varieties. In 2015, they worked as an environmental engineer at the University of the Balearic Islands, conducting a meteorological campaign in the Pyrenees. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as an environmental engineer and product manager at Pessl Instruments GmbH, where they held responsibility for product development, site-specific weather station networks, and decision support tools. Finally, from 2013 to 2015, they worked as a vineyard farmer at Montezuma Canyon Ranch & Vineyards, where they were responsible for pruning, vine peeling, and repairing irrigation systems.

Davide Tabarelli completed a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from Università di Trento. Davide then participated in an Erasmus Exchange program at the University of the Balearic Islands from 2014 to 2015. Davide subsequently obtained a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering - Soil Preservation from Università di Trento. In addition to their formal education, Davide Tabarelli holds two certifications: a Corso di Apicoltura from Associazione trentina apicoltori obtained in May 2022, and an Accredited 100-hours Cultivation, Harvesting and Processing of Medicinal Plants Course from Fondazione Edmund Mach obtained in January 2014.
