Farid Anooshehpour

Farid Anooshehpour has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Back End Developer at Petal since July 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Research Assistant at Université Laval from January 2013 to 2016. Before that, they were an Offshore Project Engineer at the Iranian offshore engineering and construction company (IOEC) from June 2011 to December 2012. Farid also has experience as a Quality Control Inspector at Techinco, where they were involved in various projects related to corrosion control, risk-based inspection, welding inspection, and mechanical inspection, from February 2009 to June 2011. Farid began their career as an Inspection Specialist at the Iran Nuclear Regulatory Authority (INRA)-National Radiation Protection from February 2008 to February 2009, where they conducted inspections of workshops using radioactive sources and ensured compliance with regulations and standards.

Farid Anooshehpour started their education at Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic) from 1999 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Metallurgy. Farid then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biomaterials from the same institution from 2004 to 2007.

In 2013, Farid enrolled at Université Laval and completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Materials Science in 2016.

More recently, in 2020, Farid attended CodeBoxx and received a degree in Full Stack Development, specializing in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services.

In terms of additional certifications, Farid obtained several course certificates. In August 2020, they acquired the "Ruby on Rails 5 Essential Training" and "Testing with RSpec" certificates from LinkedIn Learning. In June 2020, they obtained a certificate for "Ruby on Rails: Get More From ActiveRecord." In April 2018, they completed the "Lean Production" course from the Technical University of Munich through edX.
