Jef Desourdy

Jef Desourdy has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jef is currently serving as the Director of Product Design at Petal since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Experience Design Lead at Deloitte Digital from March 2022 to June 2023.

Before their position at Deloitte Digital, Jef held multiple roles at CN. Jef was the Manager of Product Design & Research from October 2021 to March 2022, Manager of User Experience Design at CN from May 2020 to October 2021, and a UX-UI Specialist from an unspecified date in 2018 to April 2020.

Earlier in their career, Jef worked as a Lead UI Designer at Videotron from October 2016 to February 2018. Jef collaborated closely with the UX team, presented concepts to stakeholders, and evolved into a hybrid UX-UI Designer Lead role, working closely with the development team.

Jef also has extensive experience as a Senior UX-UI Designer at Nerd Studio from June 2005 to February 2018. Their most recent educational pursuit is a degree-like program in "UX Management: Strategy and Tactics" from The Interaction Design Foundation, which they started in 2020 and will complete in 2022. Additionally, in February 2023, Jef obtained a certification in "Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager" from Scaled Agile, Inc.
