Kelsey Emerson

Kelsey Emerson is a seasoned design professional with a robust background in user experience and design leadership. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of User Experience Design at Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI) since April 2025, Kelsey previously held significant roles at Cisco, including Design Director and Sr. Design Manager, where responsibilities included leading a creative team and scaling design operations for sales transformation initiatives. As Design Manager at Blackboard, Kelsey enhanced user experiences across multiple products and established the BB Design System. Earlier experience at IBM involved leading design efforts for client services and developing AI applications within Watson Analytics. Kelsey holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
