Sam Carey

VP of Digital at Petalfast

Sam Carey has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. From 2009 to 2022, they have held a variety of positions in different industries.

In 2009, Sam began their career as a Marketing Intern at Acclaim Games Inc. Here, they utilized online forums, Facebook, and blogs for Social Media Marketing, beta tested new products, and conducted quality assurance.

Sam then moved on to become a Production Executive at Keypix Productions, where they reported to Disney Home Entertainment Marketing and managed production of needed video and print assets for marketing.

In 2013, Sam joined The Towbes Group, Inc. as a Brand Manager, where they created marketing strategies, executed, and analyzed ROI. Sam also held the position of Marketing Operations Coordinator at the company.

In 2017, Sam founded Coastal Brand Architects, a consulting practice focused on omni-channel brand strategy. Sam served clients in the Life Sciences, Real Estate, CPG, and Nonprofit industries.

In 2019, Sam held two positions simultaneously. Sam was a Marketing Project Manager at Headwaters, where they created and managed marketing budget with ROI tracking, and an Executive Assistant To Chief Executive Officer at CANNDESCENT, where they organized executive team meetings and communications.

In 2020, Sam became the Director of Digital Operations at HERBL Solutions, where they created CRM strategy focused on Salesforce stack, optimized website for SEO, brand education, and business development conversion, and built SEM campaigns for brand partners with proven ROI.

Finally, in 2022, Sam joined Petalfast as the VP of Digital and Director of Digital. At Petalfast, they created CRM strategy on Hubspot stack and implemented company wide, led creation of first gen business intelligence tool based on alcohol industry data models, and designed and built systems architecture for fast growth at low cost.

Sam Carey obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Marketing from the University of Colorado Boulder between 2004 and 2008. Sam also holds certifications from Getty Images (2017), the American Planning Association (2014), HubSpot Academy (2022), the Bureau of Real Estate (2014), and Google (2021).
