Jevgenij Afanasjev

Jevgenij Afanasjev has a strong background in marine engineering, with experience at Peter Döhle Schiffahrts-KG. Jevgenij began their career as a Senior Engine Cadet, supporting the 2nd engineer and gaining valuable skills and knowledge. Jevgenij then progressed to roles such as Engine Watch Officer in Training, 3rd Engineer, and 1st/2nd Engineer, where they were responsible for maintaining engine room conditions and overseeing daily operations. Currently, Jevgenij holds the position of Chief Engineer, where they manage engine room technical conditions, implements resourceful techniques to improve energy efficiency, and ensures compliance with regulations. Throughout their career, Jevgenij has achieved notable accomplishments including delivering large container ships out of the port and resolving conflicts to decrease water amount in sludge and oily bilge.

Jevgenij Afanasjev completed their Bachelor's degree in Transport Engineering and Operations of ship's power plants from Klaipeda University between 2004 and 2008. Jevgenij further pursued their education at the same university and obtained a Master's degree in Transport Engineering and Operation of Ships power plants from 2008 to 2009.
