Andy Dimech

Andy Dimech is the Chief Nursing Officer at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. Andy is a dual qualified in Intensive Care and Cancer Nursing and has extensive experience in both public and private hospitals in Australia, the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom, where he worked for many years at The Royal Marsden hospital in London.

Prior to joining Peter Mac, Andy held senior leadership roles at the Royal Marsden, including Acting Chief Nurse, Deputy Chief Nurse, Lead Cancer Nurse, and Divisional Clinical Nurse Director.

Andy currently serves on the Board of the International Society of Nurses in Cancer Care and on the Technical Advisory Committee of the Union for International Cancer Control. He is passionate about the patient experience and driving innovation in healthcare.
