Bishma Jayathilaka

Bishma Jayathilaka is a highly experienced pharmacy professional with a diverse background in clinical pharmacy and education. Currently serving as Chief Pharmacy Information Officer and Cancer Pharmacist at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre since October 2017, Bishma has also held roles such as Senior Pharmacist focusing on Quality Use of Medicines and Antimicrobial Stewardship. Previous experience includes Clinical Pharmacist positions at The Royal Children's Hospital and Northeast Health Wangaratta, among others. Bishma has contributed to academia as a Sessional Tutor at the University of Melbourne and has engaged in global health research with the World Health Organization. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Melbourne, Bishma also holds a Master of Public Health, a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Pharmacy, and a Bachelor of Pharmacy.
