Susanne Ramm has a diverse work history starting in 2007 as an intern in the Schreier Lab at the University of Wuerzburg. Susanne then had an internship at the Regional Office for Health and Food Safety in Erlangen, Germany in 2008. In 2013, they had a brief research stay at the Conway Institute, Pennington Lab at University College Dublin. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the Mally Lab at the University of Wuerzburg. Susanne then moved on to Harvard Medical School where they worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the Vaidya Lab from 2013 to 2016. Susanne then became a research associate in Therapeutic Science at Harvard Medical School from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, they joined AstraZeneca as a Senior Scientist in Oncology Safety until 2019. Currently, they are working at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre as a Senior Research Officer and R&D Lead in the Victorian Centre for Functional Genomics (VCFG) since 2019.
Susanne Ramm's education history is as follows:
From 2003 to 2007, they attended The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg, where they obtained a degree in Food Chemistry (1st State exam).
In 2008 and 2009, Susanne enrolled at the Regional Office for Health and Food Safety (LGL) in Erlangen, Germany. During this time, they completed the requirements to become a Registered Food Chemist (2nd State exam) with a specialization in Food Chemistry.
Susanne continued their education at The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg from 2009 to 2012, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Toxicology.
Alongside their formal education, Susanne earned additional certifications. In May 2009, they obtained the certification of Registered Food Chemist (Staatlich geprüfte Lebensmittelchemikerin) from the German Office for Health and Food Safety. More recently, in August 2020, they became an Accredited Mental Health First Aider Australia, having completed training from Mental Health First Aid Australia.
