Hattie Xu

Hattie Xu is an experienced public health professional currently serving as an Associate at the Peterson Center on Healthcare since July 2024. Previously, Hattie was a Fellow with the National Academy for State Health Policy, focused on health care affordability and transparency within the New Jersey Governor’s Office. Hattie's background includes a Graduate Internship at the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services, and a role as Program and Communications Manager at Patients For Affordable Drugs. Academic qualifications include a Master of Public Health specializing in Health Policy from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (2022-2024) and a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Neuroscience from Brown University (2015-2019). Additional experience includes various positions in research, journalism, and education, enhancing a comprehensive skill set in health policy and communication.
