James J. Vecchiarelli

James “Jim” Vecchiarelli is the Chief Financial Officer for Peterson Companies and serves on the Company’s Executive, Investment and Finance Committees. Jim plays a key role in setting the company’s deal structures and business plans for its properties and oversees the company’s financial, tax, accounting and risk management functions. Jim is involved in all areas of the company’s strategic and financial planning and its financial relationships, including those with its partners.

Jim has been a valued employee of Peterson Companies for more than 40 years. His efforts have helped the company to consistently meet and exceed enterprise goals making Peterson Companies one of the leading developers in the region. Throughout his career, Jim has been able to grow with the company and expand his responsibilities as the company expanded from its residential land development roots to grow into a multifaceted developer and investor. In his most recent role, Jim served as the Company’s Chief Operating Officer.

Jim is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park with a BS degree in Accounting.
