Jeff Cordeau, Vice President for Operations and Chief Technical Officer, joined the Institute in 2006. Jeff has over 15 years of experience managing technology and operations. He oversees the Institute’s internal and external communications, finance, facilities, operations, and other functions.
Before coming to the Institute, Jeff worked in highly diverse roles at top lobbying firms including The Podesta Group and the Carmen Group. Jeff left the private sector advocacy to pursue the nonprofit world of think tanks. Since joining PIIE, Jeff has enhanced the communications infrastructure including the implementation of the in-house TV studio, webcasting solution, website redesign and other areas that improve communications.
Mr. Cordeau received his MBA at Johns Hopkins University, Carey Business School, and has a B.S. in Political Science from East Carolina University.

The Peterson Institute for International Economics, previously known as the Institute for International Economics, is a non-partisan, non-profit think tank focused on international economics, based in Washington, DC It was founded by C. Fred Bergsten in 1981 and is currently led by Adam S. Posen. The institute conducts research, provides policy recommendations, and publishes books/articles on a wide range of topics related to international economics.
