Ray Lacerda

Ray Lacerda is a Data Platform Engineer Specialist at Petlove since February 2022, leading a team of Data Platform Engineers through a data lake migration from AWS to GCP and refactoring the data model. Previously, Ray held various roles, including Data Platform Engineer and Data Engineer, where support was provided to interns and juniors in developing ingestion pipelines using Terraform, Apache Airflow, and Spark. Prior experience includes serving as a Database Administrator at InfraDB, managing Oracle and SQL Server databases for the Microsiga Protheus ERP environment, and shorter stints at XP Investimentos and TIVIT. Ray holds an MBA in Data Engineering from FIAP, completed in 2022, and a previous degree from FIAP earned between 2011 and 2013.
