Gaurav Nayyar MBA, MSc

Gaurav Nayyar has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Gaurav is currently the Director of Engineering & eCommerce at PetMeds®, a role they have held since 2023.

Prior to that, Gaurav served as the Sr. Director of Architecture & Product Management at Science 37 from 2019 to 2023. In this role, they led the transformation of a legacy platform into a next-gen, multi-tenant, microservices-based SaaS platform for decentralized clinical trials and telemedicine. Gaurav successfully deployed this platform across multiple regions and managed the Architecture and Engineering teams.

Earlier in their career, Gaurav held various roles at Guthy|Renker from 2004 to 2015, including Director of Engineering - eCommerce, Manager of Engineering - eCommerce, and Software Engineering Team Lead. Gaurav played a crucial role in the growth of Guthy-Renker's eCommerce business and designed and implemented a Middleware SaaS platform facilitating transactions worth billions of dollars annually.

Gaurav's career began in 2003, where they worked as a Lead Software Engineer at Sierra Pacific Mortgage Company, Inc. Gaurav managed and administered servers, performed system administration tasks, and resolved network-related issues. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Matchstorm Studios, Inc.
