Chip Gallent

Chip Gallent learned a lesson long ago from one of his heroes: Do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life. It’s been his mantra throughout his career, and he’s passionate about sharing this guiding philosophy with each of his member companies at Petra Coach.

Before joining Petra, Chip led multiple businesses across a wide variety of verticals. He held C-level roles at companies ranging from a Nashville-based non-profit to a technology development firm, and was president of a publicly traded dot.com company. Chip worked for many years in marketing and advertising and, as an entrepreneur, ran his own technology consulting/business strategy practice. He also was a member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization in the mid-2000s.

During his work with the Nashville non-profit, Chip was part of the executive team that transformed the organization’s corporate culture, resulting in the company being named “Best Place to Work” by the Nashville Business Journal in 2016 and 2017 and a “Top Workplace” by the Tennessean in 2017.
