Steve Sprieser

Steve Sprieser has over 8 years of experience in the health care, agribusiness, and technology sectors. In 2021, they became the Co-Founder and CEO of Petrichor, a company that builds connected software and services for the physical and financial flow of raw materials. From 2017 to 2021, they worked at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a Lead Analyst and Senior Analyst, where they provided industry coverage and client engagements for the US health care (payer / provider) sector and agribusiness sector. In 2016, they were an Advisor for Self-Employed and Clinical Operations for Regroup Therapy. From 2014 to 2016, they were the Co-Founder of Varsa Health. In 2013, they were a Graduate Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where they were responsible for serving College of Business faculty members and Ph.D. students. In 2012, they were a Managing Partner and Co-Founder of the Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship Association (IDEA) and a Business Development Lead at Apervita, Inc. In 2011, they were a Researcher for The University of Illinois Subsistence Marketplaces Initiative and a Terminology Analyst Intern at Intelligent Medical Objects.

Steve Sprieser obtained their Bachelor of Science in Information Systems/Information Technology from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2010-2012. Steve then went on to obtain their Master of Science in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2013-2014. In 2018-2020, they obtained their Master of Science in Agronomy and Crop Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In 2015, they obtained a Certified Coach certification from the Road Runners Club of America.
