Carlos Alberto da Silva

Carlos Alberto da Silva has extensive maritime experience, currently serving as an Able Seaman at Petrobras since August 2008, where responsibilities include maneuvers, repairs, and navigation of vessels. Previous experience includes a role as an Ordinary Seaman/Messman at Vale from October 1996 to December 1998. Carlos has a strong academic background, with multiple qualifications in safety and engineering, including a Postgraduate Degree in Occupational Safety Engineering from Estácio, completed in December 2023, and various other degrees related to environmental engineering and production. Educational training includes military maritime education, spanning from 1990 to 1996, culminating in a comprehensive understanding of naval operations and safety practices.
