Tomás N. is a Geologist with experience in the petroleum industry, currently serving as a Trainee at Petrobras since August 2023. Prior to this role, Tomás contributed to the SPWLA Brazil Chapter as a member of the Events Committee, focusing on the planning and budgeting for the 2024 Annual Symposium in Rio de Janeiro. From June 2019 to July 2023, Tomás worked as a Petroleum Geologist at Energizzi Energias do Brasil, specializing in reservoir management, petrophysical and geological characterization, and well data interpretation. Tomás holds a Bachelor's degree in Geology from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and is pursuing a Master of Sciences in Reservoir Geology and Geophysics at Universitat de Barcelona, expected to be completed in March 2024. Additionally, Tomás spent a year abroad at the University of Bristol, studying Earth Sciences from September 2014 to August 2015.
