Walter Ribeiro

Walter Ribeiro is a Senior Consultant at Petrobras, currently leading the technical coordination of valves and piping in the Refining sector. With over 35 years of experience in mechanical engineering and industrial projects, Walter has contributed significantly to the development of technical standards, including Petrobras N-76 and ABNT NBR 15827. Previously, Walter worked in various engineering roles, such as Mechanical Engineer focused on pressure vessels and piping systems and participated in the implementation of 3D modeling software. Walter began their career as a draftsman, progressing through several engineering positions and completing a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo.
