Hector Macleod is a seasoned electrical engineering professional with extensive experience in managing electrical teams and projects within the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as a Consultant Lead Electrical Engineer at Petrofac since September 2019, Hector’s responsibilities encompass overseeing the Electrical team on various contracts, ensuring timely and budget-compliant project deliverables, and providing technical support. With a background that includes ownership of Braes Technical Services Ltd and roles at Worley, Amec Foster Wheeler, and AMEC, Hector has contributed to numerous projects across different stages, from concept design to detail design and FEED stages. Hector holds an M.Sc in Electrical Power Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and a B.Sc in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the University of Glasgow.
