Payal Sampat

Payal Sampat currently serves as the IT & IoT Cybersecurity Officer at Petrofac since September 2023. Previously, Payal held various roles at Securonix as part of the Securonix Threat Labs from October 2022 to April 2023, and worked at HDFC Bank from April 2017 to October 2022 as Assistant Vice President in the Strategy & Initiative for Next Gen CSOC and as Cyber Security Operations Manager. Key responsibilities included leading significant security projects to enhance threat detection, managing threat hunting and incident response operations, and establishing the Threat Intelligence Unit. Prior experience includes serving as Team Lead for SOC Services at Paladion Networks and as a Consultant at Sequretek IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd., where duties involved planning and managing SOC services for major clients. Payal began a career at Infosys as a Systems Engineer after earning a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS).
