Amit Keshri

Amit Keshri is a Senior Production Geologist at Petroleum Development Oman since September 2022, specializing in the maturation of gas fields in North Oman, including a significant Sour Gas portfolio. Prior to this, Amit spent 14 years at Shell in various roles, starting as a Production Geologist and advancing to Senior Production Geologist, where Amit supported development projects across Tanzania, Cyprus, Egypt, and Trinidad and Tobago, successfully driving subsurface activities and influencing key business decisions. Amit's earlier positions included roles as an IRM Geologist and Development Geologist in Shell’s global teams, where responsibilities involved implementing integrated reservoir modeling and managing field development plans. Amit holds an M.Tech in Applied Geology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Banaras Hindu University.
