Dr. Suleiman al-Hinai

Dr. Suleiman Al-Hinai serves as the Head of Corporate Business Planning at Petroleum Development Oman since December 2007, where responsibilities include developing corporate programs and business plans aligned with corporate objectives and stakeholder expectations. Notably, Dr. Al-Hinai was the Business Opportunity Manager for the Miraah Solar Steam Project, recognized as one of the largest solar energy projects globally, and has received multiple awards for contributions to solar steam generation and innovation in oil and gas. Previously, Dr. Al-Hinai held leadership roles in development planning and reservoir engineering, contributing to various enhanced oil recovery (EOR) initiatives. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Petroleum Engineering and a BEng in Mechanical Engineering, both obtained from the University of Leeds, along with a current role as a Visiting Research Fellow.
