Manjunathan Shanmugam

Manjunathan Shanmugam is an experienced mechanical engineer specializing in rotating equipment, with a career spanning over 18 years in the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as the Lead Rotating Equipment Specialist at Petroleum Development Oman since April 2014, Manjunathan has a strong background in maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of various mechanical systems, including oil and gas processing plants. Prior roles include Mechanical Engineer at DAR Petroleum Operating Company LTD., and Rotating Equipment Supervisor at KNPC, where responsibilities included preventive maintenance, overhauling equipment, and using precision measuring tools. Manjunathan holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from T P E V R Government Polytechnic College, earned between 2002 and 2005.
