Marta Elena Becerra R is a seasoned senior petrophysicist with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Senior Petrophysicist at Petroleum Development Oman since October 2023, Marta previously held similar positions at Shell and Oxy, focusing on gas exploration in Oman and reservoir development in Colombia, respectively. Marta’s earlier career at Schlumberger spanned a decade, where responsibilities included leadership in reservoir study techniques and providing petrophysical support across various South American projects. Marta holds a degree in Petroleum Engineering from Universidad de America.
