Said Bait Ishaq

Said Bait Ishaq is a seasoned professional in engineering and project management with significant experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as the Head of Construction and Area Coordinator/Construction Lead at Petroleum Development Oman since August 2013, Said oversees the largest project within PDO, blending oil and gas operations. Previous roles include Senior Project Engineer at Oman Gas Company from June 2009 to August 2013, where key responsibilities involved serving as the company representative for an Engineering and Maintenance contract. Earlier experiences encompass positions as Project Engineer at MB Petroleum Services and Maritime Industrial Services, focusing on project adherence to budget, safety standards, and operational procedures. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Caledonian College of Engineering and an Associate's Degree in Mechanical & Production Engineering from the University of Bedfordshire.
