Yousuf al Siyabi

Yousuf Al Siyabi is a qualified engineer with a strong background in chemical and process engineering. Currently serving as a Production Development Engineer at Petroleum Development Oman since November 2023, Yousuf previously worked as a Research Assistant at Muscat University, focusing on microfluidic testing for enhanced oil recovery. Experience also includes roles as a Chemical Process Engineer at SOHAR Port and Freezone, where Yousuf collaborated on feasibility studies for green hydrogen supply, and as a Process Engineer at OQ. Educational achievements include a degree from the University of Oklahoma, complemented by extensive research experience in membrane separation processes, self-healing copolymers, and nanofibers for water desalination. During studies, Yousuf contributed as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and participated in internships with Texas A&M University and Phillips 66. Additionally, Yousuf served as a mentor at Chevron Phillips Chemical Company, providing tutoring and support for chemical engineering students.
