James Foo

James Foo has a comprehensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. James has recently worked at Petroleum Sarawak Berhad as the Chief Operating Officer of PETROS Group and the Director of PETROS EP. Prior to that, they held the position of Executive Vice President Upstream at the same company. Before joining Petroleum Sarawak Berhad, James worked at Woodside Energy, where they served as the GM Corporate Management System and Assurance, GM Production Operations, and GM HSEQ. James also gained experience at Sakhalin Energy as the Upstream Asset Manager and at Shell in various roles, including VP HSSE Upstream Asia Pacific, Operations Manager, and Senior Business Development Manager. James has a strong track record of driving performance excellence, operational discipline, and HSEQ improvements in the energy industry.

From 1984 to 1988, they attended Monash University and received a Bachelor's degree in Civil and Structural Engineering.

Later, from 1988 to 1990, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Offshore Structures Engineering at the same university, Monash University.

Finally, in 1999 and 2000, they enrolled at Erasmus University Rotterdam and earned an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management, General.
