Ahmad Nizar Ismail

Ahmad Nizar Ismail is a seasoned Production Engineer at Progress Energy Canada Ltd. since October 2013, with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Prior to this role, Ahmad served as a Senior Production Technologist in the Unconventional Hydrocarbon Division at Petronas Carigali SDN BHD from September 2005 to September 2013, where responsibilities included production tracking, evaluation, and enhancement for production wells, as well as oversight of the MASA fields in Peninsular Malaysia. Earlier, Ahmad held the position of Welltest Engineer, specializing in well testing services for both offshore and onshore wells domestically and internationally. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, obtained between 2001 and 2005, and SPM in Science from Sekolah Menengah Agama (A) Ma'ahad Muhammadi Lelaki Kota Bharu from 1995 to 1999.
