Fatima Berri

Fatima Berri serves as the Senior Legal Counsel and Head of Legal & Compliance at PETRONASH since March 2020, leading legal and compliance functions across the GCC and international jurisdictions while providing strategic legal counsel on corporate and governance matters. Prior to this role, Fatima was the Deputy General Counsel at Wahed from May 2018 to December 2019, contributing to the first automated Shari’ah compliant investment platform. From May 2013 to February 2018, Fatima worked as an In-House Lawyer and Group Company Secretary at Dhabi Holdings PJSC, managing legal support for diverse business sectors. Earlier experience includes serving as Legal Counsel for Louis Dreyfus Commodities in the Middle East & Africa and founding Berri & Associés. Fatima's education includes a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Master of International Law (LLM) from Université de Montréal, complemented by a professional qualification certificate from the École du Barreau.
