Jacob Cain

Jacob Cain has extensive experience in transportation and logistics, currently serving as the Manager of Domestic Inbound Transportation and Strategy at PetSmart since February 2016. In this role, responsibilities include coordinating shipments from vendors to distribution centers, managing vendor and carrier relationships, and identifying opportunities for cost reduction and improved delivery performance. Prior to PetSmart, Jacob held various positions at APL Logistics, where management of shipping processes and customer relations was emphasized, and at FedEx Freight, where oversight of inbound operations and account management were key responsibilities. A background in project leadership with ServiceMaster and experience in a part-time role during studies at Miami University complement a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the same institution.
