Devin Rankin

Devin Rankin has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles. Starting in 2015, they worked as a Servant Leader Intern for Freedom School Partners, where they supported summer camp activities. In 2019, they became a 3rd Grade Teacher at Charlotte Lab School before transitioning to the role of Director of Family Relations in 2021. In this position, Devin planned and facilitated monthly programming, developed community partnerships, and ensured equitable access to opportunities for over 1,000 students and 600 families.

Devin also has experience in nonprofit organizations. Devin served as the Site Coordinator for Freedom School Partners from 2018 to 2022, where they directed a summer camp for 100 students and managed administrative duties. In 2022, they worked as the Office & Engagement Coordinator for the National Association of Police Athletic/Activities Leagues, Inc.

Devin's leadership skills extend to executive roles. Devin was the Director of Scholar Success for The Knights Building Knights® Foundation from 2022 to 2023, responsible for promoting academic success and providing student support services. Devin also served as the President of The See Change Collective, an organization they founded in 2020 to support local communities through various programming initiatives.

Most recently, Devin became the Executive Director of HOODIES HOUSE OF HOPE FOR YOUTH in 2022. In this role, they lead efforts to support affordable and accessible community-based programs, educational initiatives, and support services for homelessness and hunger.

Additionally, Devin has upcoming work experience as the Co-Founder and Chief Development Officer of Flexie Inc., which they will begin in 2023. In this role, they will lead strategic planning and execution, identify market opportunities, and explore potential partnerships and new business ventures.

Devin Rankin attended Winston-Salem State University from 2015 to 2019, where they pursued a degree in Elementary Education. The field of study they focused on was education.
