Melissa Woods

Melissa Woods is a Senior Associate BI Engineer at The Pew Charitable Trusts since January 2023, bringing extensive experience in data and technology strategy from prior roles at The Movement Cooperative, where positions ranged from Data & Technology Strategist to Project Lead Data & Technology Strategist between July 2019 and December 2022. Melissa has a solid background in data analytics as a Data and Analytics Manager at Climate Action Campaign from March 2015 to June 2019, producing insightful analysis reports using SQL and Tableau. Additional experience includes managing operations as a State Operations Reporting Manager and providing foundational support as a Field Assistant at the same organization. Melissa's early career included roles as a Research Intern and Assistant Managing Editor at the Environmental Law Institute, and as an AmeriCorps Tutor at King County YouthSource Renton and Phoenix Charter Academy Network. Melissa holds a Master of Science in Government Analytics from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from William & Mary.
