Nathaniel de Jonge

Nathaniel De Jonge is a skilled research associate currently engaged at The Pew Charitable Trusts, where contributions focus on enhancing research quality through project design, data collection, analysis, and literature reviews. Previous experiences include a role as a volunteer research consultant at the World Wildlife Fund, analyzing nutritional security among indigenous cacao producers in the Amazon, and serving as a post-baccalaureate research fellow at the National Institutes of Health, assessing the efficacy of novel compounds in infectious diseases. Early roles featured involvement in clinical research at Children's National Hospital, a research internship at the World Wildlife Fund, and undergraduate research in microbiology at Amherst College. Nathaniel holds a Bachelor’s degree in History and Pre-Medicine from Amherst College and has engaged in various volunteer and leadership roles throughout academic and early professional journeys.
