Jake Handy

Jake Handy has had a successful career in product management and data analysis. In 2020, they began working at Pex as a Senior Product Manager I, leading the efforts on Pex's "database-of-truth" product. Jake worked with data engineers on daily research on disparate data sources and developing unique methods to aggregate them, as well as with ML engineers to build models that improved Pex's metadata linking efforts. Prior to this, they worked at Ingram Content Group from 2017-2020, first as a Digital Product Specialist, managing numerous products, both B2B and B2C, within an agile, fast-paced team. Jake then moved to Business Operations Analyst, analyzing numerous book and media business operations, utilizing SQL and multiple data visualization tools to serve Ingram teams. In 2017, they also worked at Naxos of America as a Music Data Consultant, improving Classical metadata for numerous albums and helping existing staff to improve data workflows. From 2015-2017, they worked at Dart Data as Head of Metadata and Music Metadata Specialist.

Jake Handy attended Belmont University from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Music in Music Technology.
