Maritina Kanellakopoulou

Maritina Kanellakopoulou is an Insights Analyst at Pexapark. Prior to their current role, they served as Head of Research at inspiratia from September 2018 to August 2021. In this role, they managed a team of five analysts and data analysts, leading the way to high-quality data driven qualitative and quantitative market intelligence on renewables and infrastructure financing. Maritina also successfully worked alongside commercial teams to shape business strategy to secure new subscriptions, sponsorships and tailored products such as bespoke research proposals. Additionally, Maritina identified research gaps to improve inspiratia’s analysis and data offering, and they set the agenda for industry events, chaired panels and Q&As, and delivered presentations.

Before inspiratia, Maritina worked as a Content & Marketing Executive at Climate Action from August 2017 to April 2018. In this role, they conducted daily research and writing of stories and feature articles on energy, transportation, international climate politics, innovation in sustainability and green finance. Maritina also produced infographics on relevant topics, created newsletters including the Climate Action News, Sustainable Investment News, and Sustainable Innovation in Sports newsletters, and managed social media and digital marketing campaigns.

Maritina Kanellakopoulou has a Master of Science in Environmental Sustainability from The University of Edinburgh, a Bachelor's in International, European & Area Studies from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, and is certified in Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) Academy -Advanced and Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) Academy - Foundations from Pexapark. Maritina also has a certification in Dalf C2- Diplôme d'études en langue française from the Ministère chargé de l'Éducation nationale, IELTS- Overal Score 7.5/9 from the University of Cambridge, and Proficiency of Edexcel from the University of Westminster. Additionally, they have a Celi 3- Certificato di conoscenza dell'italiano come lingua straniera from Università per Stranieri di Perugia.
