Paul Nicholson

Paul Nicholson, CFA, is the Head of Investment Strategy at Davy since July 2023, also serving as a member of the Investment Committee. Prior experience includes roles such as Director of Fixed Income & Absolute Return at QIC from December 2016 to March 2023, and Head of Absolute Return Fixed Income & Portfolio Manager at Vontobel Asset Management from October 2011 to December 2016, specializing in Fixed Income Absolute Return strategies. Additional roles encompass Multi-Asset Portfolio Manager positions at Synergy Fund Management Group and SAIL Advisors, as well as Fixed Income Portfolio Manager positions at Nomura Asset Management and HSBC. Paul Nicholson holds a Master's degree in Economics & Finance from Heriot-Watt University, completed in 2001, following earlier education at the Royal School Armagh.
