Erik Meader

VP, Global Sourcing Operations & Enablement at Pfizer

Erik Meader has over 25 years of experience in global sourcing, procurement and operations. Erik is currently the Vice President of Global Sourcing Operations & Enablement at Pfizer.

Erik started their career as an Operations Research Analyst at Marathon Oil Corporation. Erik then transitioned to Ford Motor Company as a Buyer. In 1996, they moved to Campbell Soup Company as Manager - Purchasing. After two years in that role, Erik became a Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

In 2000, Erik joined ShareMax as Director of Operations. Erik stayed with the company for just over a year before joining Pfizer in 2001 as Director, Global Procurement. Erik held this role for five years before being promoted to Senior Director, Global Procurement, a position they held for twelve years until their current role.

In addition to their work at Pfizer, Erik has also been an Adjunct Professor at the University of Delaware and Wilmington University.

Erik Meader has a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership with a Business Concentration from Eastern University, an MBA in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh - Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business, and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Penn State University.
