Fanyu Meng

Fanyu Meng has extensive experience in analytical chemistry and bioprocess development, currently serving as a Director at Pfizer since May 2018, where responsibilities include managing a team of analytical scientists for vaccine candidates and leading the analytical strategy for complex molecules. Prior to this role, Fanyu Meng held various positions at Merck from December 2003 to May 2018, including Principal Scientist in Analytical Chemistry, where leadership of a group of scientists supported discovery and early development projects. Fanyu Meng's research expertise encompasses supporting GMP production of siRNA molecules, identifying protein biomarkers in clinical samples, and developing advanced mass spectrometry techniques. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a B.S. in Chemistry from Peking University.
