Jonathan Crowther

Jonathan Crowther has a diverse work experience in the field of analytics and data-driven strategies. Jonathan started their career at VIB as a PhD student, where they focused on analyzing genomic alterations and their impact on drug sensitivity in breast cancer. Later, they joined MDCPartners as a Strategic Analyst, where they utilized integrated analytics and clinical intelligence to transform R&D and business development processes. Currently, they are employed at Pfizer, where they have held multiple roles. As the Associate Director of Site Intelligence, they pioneered next-gen site intelligence using advanced statistical techniques. Jonathan then became the Director of Site Intelligence, leading a team of 20 analysts and data scientists while spearheading the delivery of cutting-edge results. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Predictive Analytics, driving digital transformation and leveraging ML/AI and Generative AI technologies to develop predictive models.

Jonathan Crowther received a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Science from Dundalk Institute of Technology in 2010. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in BioPharmaceutical Science from the same institution in 2010. Jonathan then pursued a Master of Science degree in Bioinformatics from Dublin City University from 2010 to 2011. Following this, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical Sciences from KU Leuven in 2016. Additionally, they have completed the Leadership Essentials Program from Harvard Business Publishing Corporate Learning in 2024.
