Senior Principal Scientist at Pfizer

Mark Massa has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Mark started their career at Parke-Davis as an Associate Scientist in 1995 and later joined Searle as a Scientist in 1998. In 2001, they became a Senior Scientist at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and was promoted to the role of Principal Scientist in 2004. Mark worked at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals until 2008. In 2011, Mark returned to Pfizer as a Principal Scientist in the Conjugate and Polytide Process Development group in Bioprocess R&D. Mark was then promoted to the position of Senior Principal Scientist in June 2022, where they are responsible for supporting the delivery of pre-clinical supplies, process improvements, and technology transfer for bio-therapeutic macromolecules.

Mark Massa earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Illinois Wesleyan University between 1984 and 1988. Mark then pursued a Master of Science degree in Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1988 to 1992.
