Miles Welbourn

Miles Welbourn is an accomplished data engineer and researcher with extensive experience in machine learning, biosensing, and data analysis. As the Head Data Engineer at LitCheck, LLC., from April 2021 to August 2023, Miles focused on the curation and application of machine learning to app and market research data while ensuring the quality of app functionality. At Pfizer, from November 2021 to August 2023, Miles served as a Research Associate and later as the Senior Associate in Digital Health Technology, leading technical initiatives in the PfIRe lab and training junior staff on wearable biosensor platforms. Earlier experience includes a Summer Internship at the Department of Public Works and a Research Assistant role at the University of Vermont, where a machine learning model for a patient restraint device was developed. Miles holds a degree in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Biosensing and Instrumentation from the University of Vermont.
