Rachel Lerner

Rachel Lerner, PhD, ELS, is the Director and Medical Writing Quality and Operations Team Lead at Pfizer, where they focus on team growth and process improvement. Prior to their current role, Rachel held various positions at PPD, culminating as a Manager in Medical Writing, and served as Senior Managing Editor at American Journal Experts, editing thousands of scientific manuscripts. With a Ph.D. in Cell Biology from Duke University, Rachel has experience in both academic research and the biopharmaceutical industry, mentoring students and leading teams across multiple disciplines. They have published and presented research findings at numerous conferences, enhancing collaboration and scientific communication in their field.
