Mackenzie Harte

Learning & Inclusion Coordinator at PFLAG National

Mackenzie Harte is the Learning & Inclusion Coordinator at PFLAG National. They have previous experience working as an intern at Advocates for Children of New York and as a coordinator at GLAAD.

At Advocates for Children of New York, Mackenzie drafted digital communication materials, conducted outreach surveys, and led the effort to move data storage from physical files to spreadsheets and Salesforce database. They also attended policy trainings about a range of education issues, with a focus on New York state policies.

At GLAAD, Mackenzie created and edited curriculum and promotional content for the GLAAD Media Institute, managed outreach with trainees and social justice organizations, and worked with the Development team to monetize corporate trainings and build a capital campaign. They also maintained relationships with Institute alumni and worked with Communications for placement in media. In addition, Mackenzie conducted trainings and consultations for organizations, individuals, and corporations around the world.

Since joining PFLAG National, Mackenzie has been responsible for creating inclusive programming, facilitating virtual trainings and workshops, conducting research on equity initiatives in education and workplace settings, and drafting communications related to inclusion efforts.

Mackenzie Harte Completed their undergraduate studies at Fordham University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government.

Mackenzie Harte works with and Jamie Henkel - Learning & Inclusion Manager. Their manager is Jean-Marie Navetta, Director of Learning & Inclusion.
