Gideon Yu

Gideon Yu is a prominent figure in both the sports and technology sectors, currently serving as an independent director on the Board of Directors for the PGA of America since November 2022. Yu has been co-owner and former president of the San Francisco 49ers since 2011 and has played a significant role as the lead Series A investor and first outside board member of Square since 2009. Previously, Yu served on the board of Razer Inc. from 2014 to 2022 and held key financial leadership positions at Facebook, YouTube, and Yahoo. Yu holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering & Engineering Management from Stanford University.
