Jacob Weir

Jacob Weir possesses extensive experience in the golf industry, currently serving as the Director of Industry Partnerships & Development at the PGA of America since October 2018. Prior roles included Senior Account Executive, Account Executive, and Account Coordinator in Partnership Development at the same organization. Previously, Weir was the Junior Golf Director and Junior Golf Manager at South Florida PGA from October 2013 to October 2018, where responsibilities included overseeing junior golf programs, managing budgets, and developing marketing strategies. Early career experiences included roles as a Tournament Administration Intern at Middle Atlantic PGA, an Operations Intern at the American Junior Golf Association, and various internships within athletic foundations and YMCA programs. Weir holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management from Slippery Rock University, completed in 2012.
