Matthew Thompson

Matthew Thompson has extensive experience in operations within the golf industry, currently serving as Operations Leader for the PGA of America since December 2019, with roles including PGA Member & Amateur Championships and PGA Club Championship Lead. Prior to this, Matthew interned at the United States Golf Association as a Sun Country PJ Boatwright Intern and gained event operations experience as an Event Operations Assistant at Living Sport. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport and Recreation Management from James Madison University, earned in 2019.
