Max Despain

Max DeSpain is currently serving as the Tournament Administrator Manager for the PGA TOUR since February 2024, where responsibilities include acting as the key point of contact for the Competitions Department and managing communications during tournament weeks. Prior to this role, Max had an extensive tenure at the Southern California PGA from February 2013 to February 2024, where roles included Director of Competitions, overseeing over 150 events, and Junior Golf Manager, coordinating 275 junior tournaments annually. Earlier experience includes internships with the Middle Atlantic PGA and the American Junior Golf Association, as well as teaching English in China. Max holds a degree in Finance with a focus on Financial Planning from Western Kentucky University, completed in 2011.
