Roby Robertson

Roby Robertson, CGCS, serves as the Director of Golf Course Maintenance Operations at TPC San Antonio since October 2006, where responsibilities include overseeing the Valero Texas Open and ensuring high maintenance standards recognized by multiple awards, including the TPC Safety Award and TPC Platinum Operations Award. Prior experience includes directing golf course maintenance at TPC Scottsdale and TPC Craig Ranch, where Roby garnered numerous accolades for operational excellence and environmental leadership. A graduate of Kansas State University with a degree in Horticulture/Turfgrass Management, Roby has also served in various leadership roles within industry organizations and has contributed to significant golf events and committees. Prior positions include Golf Course Superintendent at TPC Eagle Trace, TPC Heron Bay, and Quail Ridge Golf Club, complemented by earlier experience as Golf Course Superintendent and General Manager at Shangri-la Resort and Country Club.
