Melissa Simmons is an experienced Exhibit Designer with a strong background in museum exhibitions and design management. Currently employed at PGAV Destinations since June 2019, Melissa has previously held positions as Exhibitions Manager at the Heard Museum and Junior Exhibit Designer at the Musical Instrument Museum (MIM). With a career spanning over a decade, Melissa has designed and managed the installation of more than twenty exhibitions, developed design presentation tools, and collaborated closely with curators to ensure accurate presentations of exhibits. Melissa holds a Master of Arts in Museum Studies from Indiana University Indianapolis and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Ball State University, contributing to a solid foundation in both design and museum practices.
